چکیده
Background: Global climate change facilitates the spread of diseases winter bread wheat ( Triticum aestivum L.) and increases yield losses caused by a combination these drought. Prevention depends on identification resistance genes introduction into commercial cultivars. Objective: The objective study was to evaluate widespread diseases, drought other agricultural traits amongst members diversity panel consisting introgression lines derived from complex interspecies crosses. Materials Methods: field trials were conducted during 2018-2019 2019-2020 seasons. consists seventy-eight two check cultivars developed for arid zone southern Ukraine. data nine agronomic (quantitative scores) five-pathogen response (point collected subjected both variance correlation analysis determine contribution individual genetic backgrounds towards plant resiliency. Results: Most found resistant rust species. distribution responses in analyzed bimodal rusts unimodal powdery mildew or septoria. showed no with heading date, height, protein content. did not correlate except stem R sp = 0.34**) Septoria blight −0.23*). A negative observed between quality grain yield, but correlated positively each other. Conclusion: High trait correlates low reduced content small grain. frequency combining pathogen as measured total is low. provide source improving disease wheat.

Assessment of drought tolerance in land races of bread wheat based on resistance/ tolerance indices
One of the possible ways to ensure future food needs of an increasing world population involves the better water use through the development of crop varieties which need less water and are more tolerant to drought. In order to study the response of twenty landraces of bread wheat to drought stress, an experiment was conducted in a randomized complete block design with three replications under t...

متن کاملEvaluation of Agronomic Traits and Drought Tolerance of Safflower Lines Derived from Three Inter-Specific Crosses
Due to genetic erosion over evolution events, the genetic diversity of domesticated safflower species for drought tolerance is limited. Wild species has been considered as useful genetic resources for improvement of abiotic stress tolerance. In this study, a cultivated species (C. tinctorius) was crossed by two wild species (C. palaestinus and C. oxyacanthus) and the genotypes were purified unt...
